A word from the founder
Vidolé was born from a very personal need: to find books where my daughter could really recognize herself.
While researching, I realized to what extent Afro-Caribbean culture remains little visible in children's literature even though it is full of everyday scenes, values and colors that deserve to be told.
I imagined lively, gentle and modern books, to nourish children's imagination, strengthen their self-confidence, and create a strong link between them and the discovery of this culture.
